Nature and man are in harmony at our Cinnamon River Villa, a boutique hideaway serenely placed among lush greenery by the ‘Polathumodara’ riverin the rural village setting of Denipitiya – only 2-3km away from the world renowned Weligama&Mirissa beaches. The honey-hued villa has fourbedrooms with a river view – two of which is fully air-conditioned. At the ground floor is an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, and a pretty courtyard among cinnamon and coconut plantations to enjoy a cold drink under the tropical sun. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for the average chef, but if you’d rather try out Sri Lankan cuisine other international cuisine, head out to Weligama or Mirissa beachside, to enjoy a meal after a trip to the sea for whale watching or other plethora of water sports along the beach.

Cinnamon River Villais a place with peace of mind with dedicated staff on hand at the front desk to ensure every whim is met, whatever time of day it’s made,and CCTV monitored security for assurance. Plan your day ahead with a free cooked to order breakfast to get a head start for a day of activities at the beach side. Come back after a well spent day to enjoy a hot/cold shower and sleep to the silent sound of the nature, wrapped in the cozy linen in your luxury beds.

If you are travelling with a chauffeur, talk to us in advance to arrange a bode for the driver at the driver’s quarters. When you want to venture out, the villa can arrange transport with advance booking at a cost or simply guide you to the cheapest, fastest and easiest ways to get around the country.

When monsoon rain showers stop you from enjoying the outdoors, or if you simply want a day to tuck in and rest before your departure, enjoy our property wide free wifi and satellite television facility in the living room.

This is a genuine homestay hosted by delightful Sri Lankan owners.  The four bedroom villa is available exclusively for guests and can accommodate up to 8 people.  It is an ideal place for those who want to have a special local experience.  The whole house can be rented by one group or individual rooms can be rented by couples or individuals.  We are currently offering a special price.

It is a short ride from the beaches of Weligama and Mirissa and two hours drive from the international airport.  Shops and restaurants are nearby

The Cinnamon River villa is clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished.  Each bedroom has:

• air-con – air coolers
• ceiling fan
• en-suite bathroom
• balcony overlooking the garden and flowing river
• dressing table/desk
• Canopy beds with thick mattresses & mosquito nets for beds
• Three bedrooms have double beds and one has two single beds

The kitchen is well-equipped.  Breakfast is included and you can choose to make your own meals or have them cooked for you.  An upstairs seating area provides a great place for groups to gather.  An added bonus is a piano in the dining room so you play to the accompaniment of the birds outside.
